Castles, vineyards and the Moselle river

We spent the past weekend in the Moselle area. The river winds it's way from France, through Luxembourg and Western Germany, flowing into the Rhine river after 544 km.

It's a beautiful area, full of forests, vineyards, fields, castles, ruins and small villages. The area is famous for it's good wine and also features the second largest suspension bridge in Germany with a span range of 360 meters.
