After spending the day in the Columbia river Gorge, visiting various waterfalls it was time to do do laundry and get ready for dinner with the Wallingers.
A quick stupid waste of time caused by driving to the wrong address, we finally arrived at Nailah's place to have dinner and a night by the fireplace.
Diane managed to gather three of the kids with only Nayomi missing as she is doing her master's away from Portland.
I met them in summer 2007 at the ranch, again the same year Christmas at their place and in June 2008 when visiting with my brother and Nathalie. 17 years have passed, the kids are grown up by now. The contact was loose but the reunion heart-warming.
