La Palma

I intended to finish my last post with the final sentence saying that Binter Canarias will take us to the next island... however, something inside of me told me not to do so. Turns out that Binter only took us halfway from El Hierro to Tenerife. The connection flight didn't take place due to bad weather on La Palma. First a delay, then the cancelation, then on the waiting list, but again canceled, booked for the next day and in the end, the put us on a bus to Los Cristianos on the 20:15 ferry of Las Armas. 3.5 hours on harsh waters with random waves splashing up to the windshield of the lower deck. Luckily our accommodation was within walking distance of the port, the rental car pick up location could be changed and shortly after midnight we fell into bed, tired but happy to have reached our destination safely.
