Terceira

Day 1:

• Fly from São Jorge to Terceira 

• Visit the Algar do Carvão, an ancient lava tube or volcanic vent

• Visit the Furnas do Enxofre

• Take in the view from Serra do Cume. No sunset pictures as the fog came rolling in.

Day 2:

• Hike Monte Brasil

• Explore the southwest of the island and try some local cheese

• Walk through the alleys of Angra do Heroísmo 

Day 3:

• Shopping in Angra 

• Visit the Gruta do Nata (lava tubes)

• Try to get a view from the highest mountain but no success due to fog

Day 4:

• Explore the southeast/east

Day 5:

• Hike in the highland

Day 5:

• Hike the Caldeira Guilherme Moniz 

• Swim in the Atlantic ocean

• Have a lovely dinner on our last day of this holiday...this time spaghetti instead of tosta queijo😀
