Here I sit on the plane taking me from Karlsruhe-Baden to Porto.
My travel companion: my mother. For her, it is the second flight in her life after nearly 30 years. Seems like sometimes the apple does fall far from the tree 😂.
Also on board: my best friend's parents who, with this flight, move back to their home country Portugal. They are somehow closing a chapter in life while we embark on a new adventure: walking the Caminho from Porto to Santiago de Compostela.
