When the Day comes to Life

I hear the sound of roaring waves in the far distance.

On the fields behind me, the kangaroos slowly but surely hop into the distant bushes, seeking shelter for the day.

On the shore to my left, cranes are resting, cleaning their feathers.

On the water, ducks are paddling along, some more joining them, landing with a splashing sound.

In front of me, the mangroves are reflected in the still water, which is adopting the changing colors of the sunrise.

On the pier to my right, little birds came together tweeting lovely tunes.
